Houston, do we have a problem?

People often tell me: “Kinesiology sounds very interesting, but I have no issues, can I still try it?”. The answer is yes, absolutely!

There are two types of journeys. One is away from something – away from pain, conflict, sadness and disconnection. The other one is towards something – towards the greater good, unconditional love, wholeness, purpose and meaning. The common element in both scenarios is the intention to change, desire and commitment for things to be different. This is the most important element in any type of therapy. Relevance and usefulness of a therapy are determined not by how many conditions and problems a person has, but whether she/he has a desire and a firm commitment to move towards a more harmonious state.

This message often gets lost because of the limitations of words. What I mean by “an issue” you may call “a challenge” or “a difficulty”. Alternatively, this negative experience may not be defined by any words. It may be like an annoying itch that happens while you are asleep. It wakes you up, but you cannot put your finger on it to tell what it is. Often when I ask my clients whether they have a problem to work with, they say no. But when I ask whether they are as happy as they want to be, often the answer is “no, not really”. Kinesiology is the most effective when used for prevention rather than cure. Any difficulties and imbalances can be best addressed before they manifest on a physical level in a form of a disease.

None of us exists in a state of pure happiness and unconditional love all of the time. And it is our human beings journey to look for a better life, for more joy, love and fulfilment. Each one of us has a unique path. Kinesiology can help you to stay on track in your search for happiness, where you yourself determine the direction, destination and a measure of progress.
